What Fruity said... good quality photos makes all the difference.
If it's a good car and likely to sell start it at 99p. It's a bit counter intuitive but you get a few bids and people interested and it builds momentum. Obviously have a reserve that you are happy for it to go at... you can always lower it if bids are getting close towards the end.
Let listing run its course... don't be tempted to take offer (unless its a great one).

Now your costs for Ebay and Paypal and factor them into your minimum price.
All information is there but some is in the T&Cs and people miss them.

Decent pictures in nice surroundings, just imagine what you would want to see if you were buying. Make sure any bodywork problems are in pics too. If it’s a bid rather than an auction start at the minimum you would accept, add the postcode area and an area/town nearby that is well known if where you are isn’t, also “sold as seen”. Obvious stuff maybe but when you see some ads on there it’s a wonder how they expect decent money

Depends on value and age of car, if its sub 10k, I'd seriously consider using fb marketplace. It tends to attract only local people and serious buyers, filters out the loonies who offer a low price before seeing it or arrange to turn up with their mates, cousins etc to force you to accept a lower price or try to mug you.

One of my boys sells cars on ebay, as said the biggest disaster is people bidding and pulling out. Classified ads on ebay are a lot better

No difference to selling anywhere else. You will get messers, jokers ridiculous low ball offers abs tyre kickers asking questions for questions sake.
Take the first reasonable genuine offer that comes your way as it will generally be the best you get.
Do a wbac quote, then price it any amount over that, that you are happy to take for the ag of selling it to Joe Public.

Put a reserve price, also have a lowest price in mind which you'd be happy to take. I've sold a few vehicles on ebay, you get lots of messages asking how much you'll take. Do a search of a similar vehicle on ebay and gauge how much they are going for.
